I've tried many times to get skyline's 3rd person/FOV mod to work on H2v. I've googled, tried both versions, putting it in the Halo 2 vista files, dragging it onto the .exe, and changing the hotkeys, but it just won't do anything!
It may, sometimes, make me see that banshee at a father back view, but that's all it will do.
And when I tried using it without clicking and dragging on the .exe (which doesn't work anyway) it says "Halo 2 is not running!", even though the game is turned on, and the disk is in the drive.
Any ideas of how I could make it work? What could I be doing wrong?

BluTrainer DOES work. It works with third person and FOV.

This FOV fix always works! http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11157 cheers, denizen

There is one. It's on halomods.com, It's free to register on, and once you do you can download it. H2 at 90 FOV is fun! I'll get link later, and yes, it works with newest patch too :D.

I would also welcome such a mod, the FOV is so narrow it gives me a headache.

Are there any newer versions or other programs that work, even with the patch? And I'm not trying to use the 3rd person part. I'm trying to adjust my FOV to 90-99. But it still won't do anything. [Edited on 07.10.2008 6:32 AM PDT]

Hmm...the one I had allowed 3rd person on foot. But that one broke after the update.
-
Well, the third person Field of View only works on vehicles. You can only toggle the first/third person while in vehicles. Other than that, nothing else in the program works.
-
Yeah I'm pretty sure the last update broke it.
-
The latest Halo 2 update stopped it? D: I'm really horrible on smaller FOVs, it just feels uncomfortable since I play H1 on a FOV of 93-99.

I've tried this same thing many times and have come to the conclusion that it does not work after the latest update.
