Signal to Noise By Eric Nylund. It is a great sci-fi book.
-
don't know you read almost all the books i read, try the da vinci cpde, or angels and demons but i have a feeling you already read does.

Time Travel in Einstein's Universe: The Physical Possibilities of Travel Through Time, J. Richard Gott.
-
G.K. Chesterton's 'The man who was Thursday'- a brilliant book. Or Arthur C Clarke's '2001: A space oddyssey'- if the film confused you, this'll explain it all, and its also damn good!

But Da Vinci Code is much more informative and interesting. They are both excellent books and I suggest you people read them...come to think of it, I already made a thread about Dan Brown (author of the books).

hitchhiker's guide to the universe! A classic, and funny as hell.
-
Do not read the Resident Evil books--they're retarded (no offence to retards). I perfer Tom Clancy's Net Force and Op-Center books. Another great book I read recently was the Bourne Supremacy--and that rocked hard.

Read the Tom Clancy books.

On a side note: A Tom Clancy book just came out over the Splinter Cell games. I wonder if they're any good.

I've got that book and it seems to be the most unrealistic Tom Clancy book to date. It's still good though, but that might be because I'm a fan of the Video Games.
