Just thought of this a second ago, but what if we could get faction marks/commendation for all the factions instead of just getting/having to use crucible marks/commendations for the different faction armor and weaponry. This way a person that likes a particular armor set could stay out of pvp if they so chose and those that did would see no real change. This would also help level some people and characters faster in the future, because then they could get seperate parts from vendors and still be able to afford decent weapons as well. Just my 2 cents.
