The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Why? Because it had this sense of urgency, loneliness, sadness, darkness, chaos that no other Zelda game has. You have this antagonist, the Skull Kid/Majora, who isn't just out for power (Ganondorf, Vaati), but just to mess the days and lives of people up. He turns people into zombies (Gibdo), turns peaceful swamps into poison, messes with the minds of the townsfolk, all because he [i]can[/i] and he thinks it is fun. But it doesn't just stop there. He does it because he never had any real friends, not until he met these 4 beings. But they abandoned him, and he was all alone in the rain. He was considered ugly, and goofy. Nobody wanted to be his friend. He was an "imp". He became a trickster and prankster. And thus, leading to his downfall and him becoming evil and the antagonist. There is so much more backstory with the Skull Kid and Majora, I could go on for hours. And that doesn't even scratch the surface of the game. That is only two characters of the many already in the game. And the locations. And the story. Items, masks, songs, etc. I could write an essay on the game. And this whole game was made in under a year. Truly remarkable by Nintendo. Metroid Prime Why? Because no other game I have played (Dark Souls is close) has this sense of isolationism that Metroid has. You have this small intro about a foreign world and enemy, and the game throws you into it and you're off exploring. The game is visually stunning, even though it is over 12 years old. A solid 60 frames per second is also a technological marvel. The soundtrack is just beautiful. The only video game soundtrack I have ever listened to, and enjoyed the entire album. Every song fits PERFECTLY into the location and event. A first person Metroid, people thought that it would be crazy. But it turned out to be my favorite Metroid game I have ever played. The story isn't told to you through NPCs, or dialogue. It's scanning environments and learning about creatures and locations. It's about learning what the Space Pirates are up to on this remote world, and why they are so interested in Phazon. The gameplay is fantastic. The game doesn't give you an item for you to use once (looking at you, Ocarina of Time Megaton Hammer), but to use multiple times to reach items, powerups, hell, even to fight bosses that you may not have even considered using the item against. Both of these games are outstanding to me. If someone told me that MM/MP are the greatest video games to ever release, I would not argue with them at all.

Last of us ive beat that like 80 times on the hardest difficulty its the best or metroid prime (not 3) nw that was amazing on the game cube.

Skyrim and red dead redemption. Both games I logged tons of hours and I would buy them both again if they came to the ps4.

Uncharted 2 Uncharted 1 was great, but it had no multiplayer, and that's a huge turn off. Uncharted 3 was the other way around - almost only multiplayer. The story was pretty bad and short. And after one play through, you've only got multiplayer to do. Uncharted 2 not only had great multiplayer, but I've gone through the story several times. Plus, you've got those modifications, like no gravity, slow motion, ect. And you can change skins, give yourself any gun at almost any time, it's just really fun to play.

halo 3 has gr8 campaign and multiplayer

Halo 2. There were multiple reasons, but the two biggest ones were the additions to the gameplay mechanics, such as dual-wielding and destructible vehicles, and the major amount of focus paid toward the Covenant and its viewpoint on the events of the story. It also gave some major insight into just how corrupt the Covenant's political scene was. It definitely added a lot to the character of Thel 'Vadam. [spoiler]Oh, and the addition of online multiplayer helped.[/spoiler]
