Number one reason people aren't finishing Crota HM
In my opinion the number one reason people aren't finishing the Hard mode is due to the lack of heavy ammo people bring in with them. Some don't even bring in any and rely on rng for heavy drops. Crota won't go down, and the blame gets put on the sword bearer for messing up. When in fact Crota wasn't put down at all and ends up slicing an articulated cut into the brave hunter. That and all the bugs. Two middle fingers up to you bungie.

1 ReplyNot taking a sniper with armor penetrating rounds... No need to ever actually see the ogre, just have a friend mark it and shot it through cover. Stupid sword bearer juke past your galley and wolf pack rounds and in hiding behind that pillar regaining health, I think not! Pick one up , it is amazing. Want to try a full group with this perk on sniper and see if we can kill withes on dearth singer when we spawn in. You can see them through roof and can shot them as well, focused fire should drop them in a heart beat.

Probably because the main reward (the Necro) is rubbish by all accounts.

I'd say, the fact that the whole experience glitches like crazy, is probably the cause of more failures than most other reasons.

Really tho, 50 heavy ammo drops = glitch. No glitch = no heavy ammo. Plus sword bearer is just a little bitch

They suck :) my lvl 30 hunter made it through no problem

Our group never had a problem with heavy ammo. Just had trouble finding a competent sword bearer. Once we did we had him down in less than an hour. Second biggest problem was people dying while trying to regen health.

I have noticed the more heavy ammo people use the more frustrated they get. Swordbearers job is tough, 1 second too late or early and shit hits the fan.

Thank you!!!!!!! I do understand heavy ammo is expensive. Especially if you have three characters glimmer is often an issue. At the same time there is no excuse, when u go to school bring paper and a pencil ( or iPad these days) if you're doing a raid on hard bring heavy ammo and FULLY UPGRADED WEAPONS. Tell the host you need to go to the tower I'm sure he wouldn't mind

1 ReplyI believe people aren't finishing the raid due to one thing. People are scared after the 2nd sword. Who wouldn't be when a god like being bends down and whispers 'Its not ogre yet' in your ear.

2 Replies1. Glitches I've had crota chase different teams pretty much everywhere, the crystal room, the ogre room, bottom middle. Not kneeling when shield is down. Killing our swordbearer after one hit when he was standing next to him. 2. The swordbearer hiding in the ogre rooms or jumping into other places he cannot be seen. 3. Lag 4. User error

Thank God that someone realizes this. I bring 20+ heavy synth and I hold the sword.

Even if you have enough the game will glitch and won't recognize that you used synth.

The number 1 reason people aren't completing Crota's End hard mode because people don't know what to do and have never tried to beat it without cheesing.

2 RepliesNo, I think the number one reason people are not finishing Crota HM is all the damn glitches. The sword randomly disappears when you put down the swordbearer, Crota and the boomers will jump down and kill people, the oversoul will say that you defeated it only to explode, Crota and the swordbearer will randomly walk right through the doorways at either side kill people, thralls walk and scratch their way through the force fields to kill us... The list goes on and on. Bungie won't fix the raid glitches but they will fix the cheeses... Oh wait, two thirds of the raid is still cheesable even after multiple patches. Good thing Bungie spent all their time on that! Fix the god damn raids Bungie!

Chuck Norris is a Bungie tester, after Chuck tests anything it's all glitched due to the ass kicking he gave it.

2 completions but third time, 5 engages in a row due to the 10/15 % health. Every time we took crota down again he got up before the last sword hit could kill him, hunter was camo ready to hit every time. . then I left because 3 of the kids on my team were douchebags and I didn't want to complete raid with them. Don't be a dick to your team!

Have one hard complete with an excellent random team Everyone used a synth when req 6 wipes then completion Then 12hrs of trying with other squad s on 2nd and 3rd toons Being sword bearer twice no joy Glitches and small errors very frustrating
