Is it me, or do Exotic Weapons/Gear have hidden perks?
Here are the hidden perks I noticed for some of the weapons:
Mida Multi Tool has High Caliber Rounds, and boosts your agility w.o the "+2 agility" and "Mida Multi Tool" perks
Thorn pierces enemies even before you unlock the exotic perk, and it highlights foes you hit.
Gjallarhorn has Proximity Detonation.
Thunderlord sometimes causes an enemy to explode.
Hawkmoon can activate both "Bonus Damage" perks on one bullet.
Ice Breaker has a significant increase on special ammo drops (Lolol) and can destroy Knight's Wall of Darkness.
Truth has Tripod.
Plan C has Lightweight.
Vestian Dynasty/Dregs Promise stops Hobgoblins from entering their shield
Now for Gear:
Khepri's Sting does DoT if you turn invisible and hit with a melee or Golden Gun.
Celestial Nighthawk procs with Hawkmoon's perks, meaning you can get Luck in the chamber, Holding Aces or both on your shot. Hawkmoon must be your primary.
Surely others have noticed this, right? Do other Exotics have this as well?

Sleeper simulant had 2 but they got patched :( One was getting full ammo out of one rocket and the other being able to stagger Oryx the taken king in one shot before nerf :( Bad juju sometimes gives you one ammo back in the mag if you miss all your burst (I think, I saw it happen multiple times but not confirmed.) Zhalo supersell can generate orbs of light on precision kills against minions of the darkness if you have the arc catalyst on your artifact (not really an hidden perk but really usefull…) 4th horseshit gains a bit more range while ADS (unconfirmed)

Vestian dynasty and dreg promise keeps explode shanks from explodeing. They just disenerate into lighting.

3 RepliesI havn't got the Dreg's Promise to test it yet but, when you shoot hobgoblins with the vestian dynasty they don't put up their shields. Dunno it's thats some form of a perk or just a glitch but it worked on every hobgoblin i've killed.

Universal remote's perk seems to be a 50% chance to NOT kill in one shot. Very inconvenient with such a slow firing weapon

I no longer have the Melee Attack speed perk on any of my Warlock's gear when I started using Nothing Manacles, yet the melee speed still feels the same as when I was running gear with the perk. I've noticed this alot in PvP.

11 RepliesYes there are lots of things about exotics that aren't mentioned it started clearly. 1. Bad Juju instant reload doesn't draw ammo from your reserve rounds. 2. Thunderlord occasionally makes enemies explode when they die after unlocking lightning rounds. 3. Pocket infinty shots deal less and less damage with each continuous burst. 4. Suros Regime health when is unclear whether it triggers randomly or only during the bottom half of the magazine. 5. Suros regime "glass half full' was much more powerful before they nerfed it. Used to result it massive jump in damage during the last few shots of each magazine. 6. Icebreaker makes enemies drop wtf amounts of special ammo that you'll never use.

74 RepliesEdited by Bravovenom99: 6/14/2015 4:44:05 AMgjala does not have proximity neither does db plus some of the perks that are on the guns so they are not really hidden plus the hunter gauntlets will not keep u invisible if you use any sort of attack as this would be over powered whilst using golden gun plus and sniper can destroy a knight shield my ldr5001 has done the same thing its nothing special plus most of this post is bs as thorn cant peirce enimes unless u have the perk to do so and thunderlord cannot make enemies explode their heads on firefly weapons can do that

1 ReplyThis might not be right, but from what I've seen (maybe I'm lucky) the Sunbreakers drop more heavy ammo when I wear them. Also, thunderlord's explosions happen when you get a critical kill. Always
