Is the Iron Banner fun?
Do you find the Iron Banner fun? I did a poll last month, so let's see what the opinion on it is now.

I like it actually, good for lvl 32 armor of you're lacking and i think it's challenging and fun for me

Edited by cusman: 1/18/2015 10:46:54 PMSure, but only if the match making doesn't screw you I can't imagine it being fun for anybody that is below Level 30 (unless the match making did its job and spread low levels vs. low levels evenly). In fact, it becomes not fun for me, when the match making puts all the inexperienced or sub-30s on my team while stacking other team with 31+ In any case, I quickly learned to recognize good team vs. bad team early enough, and I have no issue leaving and finding another match until I end up in more balanced match.

Edited by NateOrb: 1/18/2015 9:46:51 PMIts as fun as the regular crucible... ....Except only one gamemode is available and half the maps arent in the rotation and it doesnt even rotate through the maps it does have its more like sniper shore 4 times then sniper gap and back to sniper shore I stuck with it to get rank 5 for the hand cannon(thought about buying the gauntlets too since CE warlock gauntlets are dumb but the chest isnt 32 too so it would look even worse with IB gaunts) because I had some friends playing with me most of the time but when I play the same map 3+ times in a row it gets boring

Edited by Taintedraindrop: 1/18/2015 9:06:31 PMThe iron banner is ok. the issue is that LVL 32 are GOD's. The iron banner is all about getting B capped first and keeping it. If you are a lvl 32 nothing can hurt you except an other lvl 32. i know about the "nerf curve " but still lvl 32's should not be god's. i am not saying that lvl 32's should not the head of the pack, but they should not be so strong that they can take every shot you have.

I paid for the DLC and I really enjoy the new DLC maps, so [b]I expected to play the DLC maps in this latest IB.[/b] Still, I could vote yes despite the above remark; however, I spent 3 or 4 days of getting booted from the Destiny Servers and encountering [b]extreme lag[/b] while playing IB and that did in fact ruin the fun for me. So, if the servers were functioning properly, I would've voted yes despite the map concern (that was still a real downer), but the [b]server issues[/b] makes my vote: "no, I did not have fun this time."

Added wolves to my emblem and vestige that work with my name. Added a Efrideet's Spear and hit the RNG jackpot when 1 of my characters hit IB lvl5 and crucible lvl2 at the same time and got a Mida multi-tool in the RNG. I am not the greatest but I can hold my own until you through in some lvl31 and 32 super players with super weapons. I also really wish they would not have sold IB on the same weekend as Iron Banner as there are way to many people camping in the corners.

it can be... if your high lvl, even than its a pain sometimes, only participated in it once back a few months ago... i died alot
