It's the best RTS game of all time in my book. It's a darn shame Blizzard hasn't updated their StarCraft: Ghost site since E3, though.

i like StarCraft... i'm usualy either Protoss or Zerg (OMG WTF no zerg rush). when is Ghost due out again? i was told August of this year, but i haven't heard anything since. i've even seen the cases on display at a couple of game stores, but they were all pulled from the shelves mid-Augist or so. did Blizzard go under or something? i sure hope not.
-
I think Ghost was pushed back to come out on all the future consoles.
-
I was. Two years ago. That's a very old game.
-
SC is awesome. Warcraft 3 sucked though, IMO.

But I really would like to know what they're doing with the game right now... if anything.

When I did play online, I was a member/cofounder of Clan_Spartan. We were pretty good, but after I left, the other two cofounders left soon after, and the clan simply collapsed. I was Spartan_22, but I guess the profile was deleted due to lack of use. And I've never played WC3, since my computer is so pathetic. sigh...

I said it. I guess I shouldn't say 'sucked'... I should say I dislike it; it is a quality game, but a departure from traditional Blizzard titles like warcraft and starcraft. What I liked most about starcraft and warcraft was that you could have really big battles, with tons goin on... In WIII it was mostly skirmishes and micromanagement. No fun. Also, far far too much emphasis on heroes in that game. I just prefer StarCraft.

Just out of curiosity, what are these invisi-posts you speak of frequently?

I still play that game as well.....I used to play it all the friggin' time. Now, I hop on from time to time when I need to a RTS fix.
Posted by: Tanikaze I was. Two years ago. That's a very old game.
It may be old, but it's a classic. Besides, I can still be a tank whore in that game, almost like in Halo. Siege tank mode, anyone?

I still play to this day

Every time I play an RTS (except RTTs because controlling only the troop movement is much more fun in my book) I always feel like there's too much going on for one person to handle. That's why I want an RTS to feature an option along the lines of "multi-management." This is where two people could control one army; one could control the homefront (defence) while the other controls troop movement (offence). This would not only make the battlefield more efficient but also put less pressure on one person to put up a formidable offence and maintain a good defence. Any thoughts?
Posted by: Master Sergeant Just out of curiosity, what are these invisi-posts you speak of frequently?
Its a bug with B.net. In the 'last post' screen, it shows more posts, but when you enter the thread, they aren't there. Fixed by posting again in that thread.

Yeah, Starcraft rules, it was one of the first games I ever played. Unfortunately I can't compare it to Myth, since it hasn't come in the mail. Feel the Power of the Swarm! [Edited on 12/19/2004 9:56:21 PM]
