Atheons Epilogue vs Red Death
So I recently got both Atheons Epilogue and Red Death at the exact same time. They both seem pretty cool with their own perks and downfalls. But in the long run, which one is better?

Epilogue is for VOG only really. Red Death is a monster now with the buffs, using it to get my pulse rifle kills for the grim card. It's a great gun. Especially the health regen and quick rate of fire.

You are comparing a Subaru Brat and a Dodge minivan. To completely different animals with two different purposes. AE: Bullet hose auto rifle that's great for void burn nfs and weekly, great for minotaurs and the Atheon fight. RD: Strong pulse rifle that's great for PVP and the Crota fight (hard or regular).

I'd say Red Death for sure. I love my Atheon's Epilogue but I love my Red Death more Cheers Guardian

You are comparing an elemental bullet hose auto rifle against a non elemental exotic pulse rifle. They both kill things, that's were the similarity ends.

AE is nice for Void Burn but there are so many better primaries out there that it rarely sees any time.

This is a 3 months old thread, still I'll say this, epilogue is still useful in cases where you need w void weapon since there isn't a single void rifle besides it, also it has perks for VoG. As a back up its still very good.

Keep em both atheons epilogue is good for vog runs, oracles and void burn. Will you be using it too run stories with probably not. Red death is a good gun with the new buff that packs a punch.

Red death is a good gun now its tearing through enemies and it heals you after each kill so can be abit more aggressive

You forgot the satire tag. Ae is bad man, if you think it looks good, you need to learn how to evaluate guns. Red death is an absolute monster now.

This isn't even a question, atheon's epilogue is the one of the worst auto rifles ever. Red death is way better than epilogue could ever be.
