I usually get a 2.5+ kd with it, which isn't great in my book, but I still love using it in pvp

I like what the gun should be. I like the iron sights, I like the bolt action even though it makes it insanely slow. But for some reason the gun is just trash in PvE. If you look at the impact you'd think it'd be strong, but no. For some reason it's a lot weaker than what it states. And it doesn't make any sense for PvE. The only real issue I have in PvP for it is the scope glare. Iron sights give off glare?! That's just poor/lazy design right there. It's an exotic, it should at the very least have no scope glare as like a hidden perk because of the iron sights. Make it feel like an exotic. People can say, "oh in the right hands it's a beast!".... No man... No. You may be able to kill some scrubs in pvp with it, but if you try to play any kind of good pvper, you're going to get destroyed if you use it. And for PvP, the damn thing is a bad joke. At least buff it for PvE. There's no reason not to.

My fireteam and I found the real secret of the VOG and I will share the instructions... First open the spirit bloom chest and head to the 'exotic' chest, if there is no exotic drop, Atheon will definitely drop multiple exotics. If someone/multiple people get exotics from this chest, the party has only seconds to act, Hunters must immmediately stick a throwing knife in those people, Titans Shoulder Charge and Warlocks use the Nova Bomb. Then you must make your way through the Gorgon's Labrinth, one person must spin round and round to the end and then do the jumping puzzle with their right hand on their left analog stick and left hand on the right, another teabags constantly, the other four people must guide the "Spinner" and get through the maze by triggering the Gorgon sound effect, but NOT being spotted. If you do this correctly, "Living in America" starts to play. You will probably be like WTF, but it gets better... Apollo Creed and Kabr both fly down and exotic engrams rain from the sky. As you are noticing that you now have the problem of holding too many secret exotics and your postmaster being full to overflow (0.1st world problem) The strangest thing happens, MC Hammer's "You Can't Touch This" blazes out, disco lights pop up all over the show and motha-blam!-ing Atheon himself moonwalks through the "Lost Gate." Dude i love the gun, my friend DIREvWOLF just helped me through the nightfall, so i got enough strange coins so i bought it. works great in PvP. they really need to nerf it though. because 1. it takes 2 shots to kill, way too op 2. looks too cool, needs to look bad, 3. my whole clan has it and we -blam!- ass with it. 4. its just way too good

I did VoG normal and beat Atheon 3 times and I still don't have the Vex Midoclast. This is why I quit playing this dumb game.

I think this gun is shit! Although it's very satisfying to get a kill, it's not so satisfying going 4 and 12 with it.
