Most patrol mission say that you're doing the said mission to help the city. This sparked an idea. How about doing patrol missions gradually upgrade the tower? Example: All guardians do craps loads of patrol missions. By the end of 6 months or so if they completed a combined total of, say 100,000,000 patrol missions something is added to the tower? Here are some ideas. Shipwright missions: Wider variety of ships, better stats, new colors or parts, discounts, etc Outfitter missions: New emblems, shaders, etc Gunsmith missions: New/ better guns, gun shaders? Cryptarch missions: Better engrams, stocks a legendary engram once a month or so General missions: Adds new areas to the tower, adds to shops. Here's a scenario. It's been six months and guardians have completed a grand total of 1,000,000,000 patrol missions. Bungie thinks this is pretty cool and decides to add a shooting range to the tower. Another 6 months and the same situation. Bungie adds more vault space. 6 months later, same deal. Add an area to recruit for raids or weeklies. Post your thoughts or some of your own ideas.
