When I saw the launch trailer for destiny, it looked like exploration was what bungie was going for. I bought the game thinking I would explore planet-wide regions with my buddies but instead, free roam ( or patrol ) is just an excuse for exploring places. The missions are boring and you can only explore places you've been to in the story or strikes. The trailers showed whole regions between you and your target destination. We've seen none of that. I thought that exploration was put there for players playing their own game and making their own "legend". I guess I was wrong. Again. Every time I go to the tower, I go to the vanguard hall and look out the window at the forest below. But bungie can still fix this. I know they can. Heck, even borderlands had better exploration, and that's a 2010 game. Make this a free update, or even $15 DLC. I don't care. But I want this in the game.
