Dear Strike Speedrunners
You do realize that if your other two teammates catch up to you before you kill the boss, then you're actually just wasting time. You also miss out on the extra loot that may have dropped during the strike.

Edit: To the dumbasses that think shit will show up to their postmaster afterwards, it won't unless you're in proximity of the teammates who killed them.
To the people who think I'm complaining. I'm not.
To the people who think the drop rate is the same as patrols, it isn't, it's increased during the Roc/Tiger strikes per an update last month or two months ago.
If you want to speed run, go for it, I'm not asking you to stop. I'm simply saying, it will more often, be quicker if you kill the enemies with your teammates because there are several artificial barriers that will stop you anyway. IE. Dinklebot, minotaurs on Nexus, tank on Mars etc.
Edit # 2. I don't care if you're speed running or not, I would HIGHLY suggest doing the Roc strikes. In the past 4 days I've received.: Plan C, Ice Breaker, MIDA Multi-Tool, Hard Light, 22 legendary Engrams and 5 or 6 ships. The end game drop rate is something crazy right now.

Your initial premise is incorrect. If the other players get to the boss before you damage the boss - then you are wasting time. If not, and you already damaged the boss before they got there, you will kill the boss faster - this will allow you to finish more playlist stikes faster, get more gear, marks, etc. Don't be butthurt.

1 ReplyDroprates are only increased in darkness zones.. I am so so so sorry for running thru enemies at least 10 levels below mine because they are no challenge and they can hardly hurt me.

Had a guy running ahead in devils lair after the first part (enemy waves) he just ran strictly to the devil walker as I was killing the captain. He died, so there appeared this "darkness" screen and my bounty for clearing a strike without dying wasn't accomplished because of such a dipshit. I mean pass hordes of enemies that you don't have to kill- okay BUT [b]5 fallen[/b]? really?

I try to do it as fast as possible. But i do however kill anything in my path. Doesn't really take much time killing mobs, but i wont stay behind clearing all the areas of mobs... If i meet speedrunners i just keep up and finish it fast. Just go with the flow!

I speed run depending on who I'm with. If he/she wants to kill all the enemies then I'll gladly stay behind to help. But if they just wanna run through it quickly I'll do that as well.

Amen. Ive had hard light and hawkmoon drop at the end and also quite a few legendary engrams just from killing mobs of low levels. Whats the bet that the sprinters are the ones that come to the forums complaining about never getting anything?

One time the other guy with me quit so the speed runner was soloing the boss, I saw he was dead and said screw it and quit.

Speed running yields a better chance of good loot.......legendary engrams are something like 1/1000 drop maybe more. If i can run a strike in 5 minutes i will and i will intentionally die in boss darkness zone to pull any slackers up to me

What loot? if someone already has a chest then they dont need it and engrams blue and above are sent to post master so you dont have to pick it up

2 RepliesI sprint through strikes because of Destiny's trash servers. I have no width to be kicked before completion. Some rewards are better than none. Also if you don't like it then suck it up and kill everything yourself, or leave. Whichever you wish I would prefer you leave, less chance of me getting kicked.

I like strike runners cause I kill everything and when I get to the boss he is at like 75% health

I had a legendary engram fall off the side in archon priest map, after I sniped a vandal no one was near it and it appeared at my post master, your argument is irrelevant.
