Even after reading several Internet articles and Destiny forum posts I still don't understand how to get Vanguard commendations which are needed to buy Vanguard gear. I bought Destiny loaded it. Then downloaded Expansion Packs I and II then started playing. I've been playing for three weeks and am level 26 Titan and don't have one Vanguard commendation. So if you get one every time you level after level three like some posts say I should have 23 of them????? Do I have to be wearing the Vanguard mark? Currently I'm wearing a New Monarchy mark? Can somebody concisely explain this Vanguard Commendation hell Bungie has created? Thx!
