Why doesn't Lord Saladin have a full set of gear ?
Who the hell wants only two peices of gear ? This guy brings a set of boots and gloves but no chest or helmet. Is there a good reason why he doesn't sell a full set ?
Am I the only only one who thinking WTF ?
Im kinda of a casual player so Im not sure if theres an obvious reason for this.
The iron banner gear looks cool and I don't understand why people would want to grind thier asses off for two pieces of gear only to have their rank reset next time he comes...

You can max IB gear with Ascendent Shards & Energies, you only need Radiant Mats for Crotas End gear -

9 RepliesVery late answer as I was looking for a clue of what materials is needed to fully upgrade Iron banner gear. I Think Bungie wants you to be able to reach level 32 by getting some from IB and some from Raids/Exotics. Yes, you can get full level 32 gear in Raids, but to "only" go through IB and get full level 32 gear is the "cheese way". It might also be that he brings gloves and boots in IB x, and then bring chest and helmet in IB y? My thoughts, now, can anyone please tell me what materials is needed to ger IB gear to light level 36, does it include radiant materials as Raid gear? And, when is the next one? I only have 2 pieces of raid gear at lvl 36, and with the exotic I need one more to reach lvl 32. As I was invited to raids by random I do not see any new attemts in near future. So this is my plan to reach 32 at the moment. No, I'm not sure if LFG to a raid is the answer...

They want to put more emphasis on the raid, so if you want to get to 32 quickly you have to do CE. If not, then you have to wait a few months for saladin to sell enough pieces.
