Destiny is the anti-Skyrim
Skyrim has decent gameplay, but an amazing story/lore/immersion. Destiny has amazing gameplay, but meh story. Both of the worlds are beautiful.
And yet, I love both games :D
Some clarifications: when I say Skyrim's story, I'm referring to all of the side quests, faction quests, etc., not just the main quest. Since Destiny is only a main quest, I'm including everything as part of Skyrim's.
Oh hey cool, this post is on the highest-rated page. Everyone had some pretty strong opinions about their games! :D
Also, let's keep it civil guys and gals. Don't insult people, or their opinions, just because they disagree with you.

Fallout: New Vegas starts with your character getting shot in the face by a mysterious man in a fancy suit, then getting left for dead outside of Las Vegas, only to recover and go on a crazy adventure to try to figure out what the hell happened, all during the aftermath of a nuclear war that pretty much destroyed modern civilization. The gameplay is dated and clunky, but there's numerous ways to solve problems - either through violence, stealth, or diplomacy across 90+ side quests + story quests, unique loot to find, dozens of guns + rare variants, item crafting, recruitable companions, factions to join, a karma system, and [u]multiple endings which all provide a satisfying conclusion for the story, even if you have none of the DLC's.[/u]
