Why exactly is it so hard to get exotic bounties?
Why do you have to make it so hard for exotic bounties? I mean like seriously. I've only earned one! All my friends are getting tons of exotic guns and are ranking up, getting tons of exotic bounties and I've only gotten 1. Also please make it shorter for the Thorn bounty cause in cause you do make it easier for getting exotic bounties, and I get the one for thorn, I've heard that it takes 2 HOURS and 30 MINUTES just to kill the wizard or which.

6 RepliesI got 2 within about an hour of each other, I turned in 4 bounties and got a bounty for Pocket infinity then about an hour later I turned in only one and got a bounty for super good advice. I seem to be lucky with them

Thanks for all the comments but is anyone agree with me that the percent of getting an exotic bounty should increase, or does everyone just have like 5 exotic bounties?

If it takes you 2 hrs and 30 mins to kill xyor You Suck. Grab a friend, ask on the forums, get one more person in the fireteam who knows what the -blam!- they're doing and it's done in like half an hour.

It is all just luck, nothing increases/decreases the chances of earning one, wether you turn in one bounty or 10, I seem to get to get exotic bounties like no tomorrow (I've gotten one from Eris, 2 from lord salad from IB, and countless from the bounty guy, not rubbing it in your face it's just that there's no chance modifier) Unfortunately, it seems as though you're just unlucky. Good luck, Guardian. Hope you get one soon.

Gotten 22 exotic bounties. Learn to praise RNGesus and he will reward your faith. No it doesn't take 2.5 hours to kill that witch, only scrubs take that long

6 RepliesEdited by Dinorush: 12/22/2014 12:37:43 AMYou get a much higher chance to get an exotic bounty if you turn in multiple vanguard bounties at the same time. For me, it seems to be a minimum of 3 vanguard and then the chance exponentially increases the more vanguard bounties you turn in at once. Other than that, get strange coins to get exotics from Xūr. Btw, the Thorn bounty doesn't take that long. It depends on how fast you kill and how many times you die.

1 ReplyI've never finished the Thorn bounty, because I gave up on it before I really gave hand cannons a chance. I have helped another kill the witch tho, took longer for her to appear than to kill..Just get yourself a solid second or a team and wreck it..Now I just need the Thorn bounty to reappear for me..
