While installing updates and such for Destiny and how it shows you pictures of Destiny. One of the Pictures is of Mars or something in the background while a whole bunch of pyramid ships are flying up close that look as big as a flying city?
I really want to know whos ships those are and when we will actually see them in-game.
EDIT: Here i found a picture of them
http://assets.vg247.com/current//2013/04/Destiny-1.jpg
EDIT2: They were Onyx Pyramid Ships as called Tomb ships. They were the old design for the Hive Tomb ships. What i want to know is why they would change the design to what tomb ships are now because these old tomb ships look awesome.

Now they are in the end credits scene in Destiny 2.
-
There's a bunch of places displayed in the installing screen that'd I'd like to go to and think are really cool that arnt in the game
-
I have the Destiny art book, they talk a lot about how and why the various designs have changed through out development. It's actually a pretty good read. May answer a lot of your questions.

They were a fleet of delivery trucks on their way to Bungie delivering the story. Nobody knows what happened to them.

Edited by Jolly193: 2/9/2015 2:50:40 AMNo Venomous these are not old designs of hive tomb ships. this is the Secret fifth enemy race that they have kept under Wraps It was mentioned by one of the Devs. that's How I can confirm. And that looks like one of Saturn's moons in the background and the ships are hovering in the atmosphere of what looks like to be Titan, one of Saturn's biggest moons. http://rfahy.weebly.com/uploads/1/7/8/5/17855157/6165780_orig.jpg This link shows an old picture released by bungies Showing enemy races. In order from left to right we have the Vex, The Fallen, The Cabal, and The Hive. and finally the strange looking one at the far right, you can see the triangles, AKA the Onyx ships. theres your fix pal. glad I could help. EDIT 1: Shows the bungie logo giving you the added proof.

OMG, you guys. It was original concept art for Hive Tombships. Jesus Christ.
-
Old design for hive tomb ships. Yknow how pyramids are "tombs" for a pharaoh, guessing that's where the name came from and it stuck past redesign
-
It's called DLC, pay for the stuff that is already on the disk. It's like an as is warranty. After you leave the car lot
-
Those are called right angles
-
Silly people.... That is the cabals exclusion zone around mars

It looks like it belongs to the vex, but if they can warp across star systems in an instant, I don't see why they would need a drop ship. It also looks a bit like what the hive would use, if they were more advanced.

Sydney Opera House?

I was just going through an old reddit post and found this picture. It shows the 4 races and one extra at the end. All the races have a shape of the people and their ships in it. So since the last one has triangles floating above them the giant pyramid ships were probably theirs. It was just old design that didn't make it into the game, yet.
