Worlds Worst Promote Algorithm - Is it unethical?
I have just reached Vanguard ranking of 13 with my Warlock.
At reaching rank 11: My Warlock was given Titan armor.
At reaching rank 12: " " Hunter armor.
and at rank 13: It gave me "Forgotten Force" a Warlock Bond that I've have since Vanguard rank 2.
In the real-world that's not showing any type of respect for an Officer.
The Warlock earned it. He's put in his time.

1 ReplyDon't know about unethical but it's stupid and a very poorly designed algorithm and reward system by bungie. To be honest though by the time you hit that high vanguard rank you probably have almost all the gear that's even useful to you to keep level 31 until you get your raid gear to hit 32

If they gave you something you actually needed every time, you would be done grinding the game so much faster. Re-leveling exotics? Raid gear with a bottleneck in upgrade materials? Commendations for buying gear? So many things are obviously in place to slow your progress. It's really quite annoying that they had to do this since the game does not have as much replayability as they hoped.
