Hunters need a buff for PVE. Are we truly a high DPS class? We need some answers.

[b]THE POST IS IN REGARD TO HIGH END PVE RAIDS, NOT STRIKES, NOT SOLOING, NOT PVP[/b]
[b]ESPECIALLY HARD RAID SITUATIONS WHERE YOU CANT REVIVE PEOPLE[/b]
[b]my main point is that in a hard mode raid most player compositions are looking for survivability and team buffing, especially due to the nature of the difficulty. And hunters are kinda the weakest at that at times and sometimes the best (with a proper invisibility). I just want some team synergy for hunters for us to make more of team impact in Hard Mode raids.[/b]
Points that have been discussed: THESE ARE ALL PERTAINING TO PVE
-Golden Gun needs some adjustments in PVE, maybe a higher damage boost or the addition of being able to land precision shots with it
-Blade Dancer is lacking in the orb production department and is also very hard to use in certain situation such as the nightfall or any mission with lightswitch on
- Hunters are the only class that doesnt, by default, have additional elemental damage attached to our melee abilities. Blink strike doesnt do additional arc damage and we have to waste a spec point to add solar damage to our throwing knife
-Make it to where Hunter's Trance and Chain of Woe apply the strike team in a PVE situation only (not PVP). this would be great support for a team

Becasue it sure doesn't feel like it, he goes over many good points here IN DETAIL. 5 RepliesFor me, being a hunter means to kill lots of shit and look good while doing it. I'm personally not a big fan of either of the other classes. Plus, the play style I have adopted by going through countless raids without radiance has seemed to make me nearly [i]invincible[/i]. I mainly play blade dancer on PVE and PVP because of the fact that I can blink to prevent a death if I have to, I can go invisible to revive teammates, plus I can blade dance my way over to locations very quickly to retake a totem, revive a teammate, flee, etc. And the wipes, ohhhh the wipes. For example, while doing Crota's End for the first time, I was the last to cross the bridge on the totems. On the gatekeeper side, all 5 of my teammates went down right as I crossed the bridge. I managed to juggle both totems and revive all 5 teammates at once because I can stay alive. Don't get me wrong, there are bad hunters out there. But the point is, a good hunter can stay alive, [i]but a great hunter can do a warlock and Titans job even better and doesn't need radiance and a bubble.[/i] And our cloaks are badass, am I right???
