The new upgrade for weapons was the base damage raised to 302 and then maxes out at 331. The idea is for the next exotic upgrade to choose a element like arc,solar,void but to upgrade them there should be a new material for each element. Earth would supply the new Arc material, Moon-Solar, Venus- Void (Poor Mars doesn't have an element) ~Not as common has spinmetal~ But earn more by strike bosses, weekly, daily, nightfall, etc. Now for the armor....It gave you more light and higher defense. Now the armor should get an element shield that gives them a should... This however can hurt you if the enemies' weapons for example is and your's is Arc also you will be damaged more effectively.
