realistic use for the gunsmith

ok so all guns have the first customization tree that offers you alternate ballistics or alternate sights. this i believe is the one aspect of weapon customization that is completely balanced and fair if we allow the gunsmith to customize . my first love weapon of this game was my silvered hushwind with the rectangular scope that gave a red circle target point not a red dot but a circle, i love this sight and i would love to have it on my vanquisher and my new for the people auto rifles but unfortunately i have to utilize what is on the weapon this sight gives the exact same bonuses and penalties as the red dot sight that does spawn on the weapon so why not utilize the gunsmith to allow us to customize these sights yes i would say for each sight you should only be able to get the ones that only change the weapon visually obviously since they chose to put those options on the weapon for balance purposes. but let me know if you like this idea.

  • This is a great idea!! Why not make sights like an extra piece of loot.....I like this sight but not the gun it's on.....and I like this gun but not it's sight.....put the sight from the first gun in my general inventory spot( or add a weapon parts section) and break the gun down for weapon parts and glimmer. Now take the sight off the gun I like and break it down for weapon parts and glimmer, then take the sight I like out of my inventory and put it on the gun I like! This, though, with all Destiny's glitches seems way to complicated for them to pull off!! Lol
