Xur Exotic Upgrade bug
So I upgraded my Crest of Alpha Lupi chest armor today with Xur, which all it did was give me the option of trading an old version 1 for the new version 2 which I will have to upgrade again from scratch. It cost me an exotic shard, but I was fine with that. Later that day I went to see what else he had that I could buy after I got 2 exotic shards from some exotics I broke down, and I see that I could "upgrade the Alpha Lupi again. So I did, but it didn't do a thing, all it did was take my glimmer and exotic shard without doing a thing to my armor, like upgrading it all the way to the max.
Why doesn't bungie have any sort of support staff? All they do is have "forums" for people to post stuff, does anyone actually read this stuff?

well actually wat it does is if u look at the armor rating it goes alot higher . it doesnt max it out. lets say u had a max up graded exotic and u went to xur to uprade it and ur defense rating max was 300. then it should hav brought it higher to something like 333 with the option of remaxing out to 366. ( remaxing out as'in reuprading ur perks for ur item ) u have to restart ur perks but its worth it and same for guns
