343i's Apology
When Halo:MCC launched the game was loaded with bugs. Most people couldn't find matches in Multiplayer. There were problems with getting achievements. There were even problems within the campaign. 343 has apologized for the in-convince and told us we would be given gifts for are patience when they were fixing the game. There still fixing the game. They have revealed what these gifts will be. In development at the moment, they will be adding the Halo 3: ODST campaign to halo:MCC. They will also be adding another Remasted map for halo 2 anniversary (I believe this is what I heard). 1 free month of Xbox live. A In game name plate, a in game avatar, and it believe there is one more thing. These gifted are for the people that have played Halo:MCC At least ONCE from launch through TODAY. You must have At least played 1 multiplayer game for his to work. Now, bungie.... Why can't you do something like this for Destiny?

Something happened when destiny was in development that changed everything, I'd like them to come out and say what that was. But they have no reason to apologize

4 Replies343i should have put ODST in from the beginning, they cut content and created hype through "remastering" Halo 1-4, making it "pretty" so they could get sales, THEN they sold you one of the most broken ass games to hit the shelves this year and are giving you a "freebie" to make up for it. 1 ReplyI have no problems with destiny not working, nor have I ever or any of the people I play with. MCC and other games didn't work. The problem with destiny is just people want it to be something it's not.

5 Replies343 has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I took a day off to play that bug riddled game. I am not sure if I would ever go back to MCC, but I have been interested in what they would do to "make things right with their fans". Now that we know what they doing, I am still very disappointed. ODST campaign only, a remake of Relic, and 1 month of XBL is essentially what they are giving us. The nameplate and avatar are essentially cosmetic things in game. First off, the ODST story was a nice tangent from the normal Halo ones, but I do not think that is what the fans wanted. Not to mention, they are not including Firefight either. Fans, myself included, would be probably a lot happier with the full game of Reach for free. Reach had a great multiplayer and story to add to the actual Halo series, not mention that Master Chief is technically in the game. But I can see why 343 did not add it and instead went with ODST. They are trying to cover up their inability to implement multiplayer. Many forget, but Halo 4 had server issues a few hours into its launch as well at the notorious issues with MCC. What a better way to cover up multiplayer incompetents than adding just story missions. And the Relic map? Seriously? Relic is one of the most obscure and least popular maps in Halo 2. If they wanted to go for bigger, objective maps, then Waterworks, Headlong, and even Burial Mounds were vastly better. If they wanted to go for more popular maps, then Midship, Beaver Creek, Ivory Tower, and even Foundation would have been better choices. Finally, they give us 1 free month of XBL. What a joy! Something that is worth a total of $8 if you bought it separately or $5 if you buy it in 1 year packages. Essentially, they are giving us at or even less than minimum wage for putting up with a month and half of an unplayable game. Meanwhile, anyone who wants to buy the game in December can still get all of these perks as well as $15 credit on XBL. After the Halo 5 beta, I will likely be done with MCC. If the beta is fun, I might give Halo 5 a chance, but my hopes are not high. 343 has taken a once great franchise and has put it on the brink of collapse. Their "new and innovative" ideas for Halo 5 look like they just took ideas from other games to cater to the eSports audience instead of doing what Halo has been known for.
