Exotic Bounty leading up to Thorn |Bugs and Pain|
This bounty seems to be not working as intended. It is causing more frustration then overall enjoyable gameplay experiance due to unbalanced scaling caused by recent changes, mainly due to recent patches. The time required to complete this bounty is on par with doing an entire raid. No other exotic bounty has this problem. Having completed this bounty myself I am reporting it as broken due to the nature of current related game content.

I am having a hell of a time doing the crucible portion. I am a hunter and all I have are some shitty not even rare shotgun & fusion plus a heavy but I am not doing so well. I honestly feel the bad juju bounty is a hell of a lot easier than this one...

I finished that bounty yesterday and it really isn't that hard

And even the Super Good Advice bounty requires Xur, so it is time restricted (despite how easy the rest of it is). Pocket Infinity is no walk in the park (fusion rifle kills during Nightfalls anyone? Not to mention all the rare fusion rifles you need to break down...). With the Thorn, you can easily get through this in a week not even really trying. The hardest bit for me was the crucible requirements, but even that took me a couple of hours in PvP, and not much more (77 Wizard FTW!). This bounty is not broken - it gives you an exotic you can not get anywhere else - it is not suppose to be easy.

I just completed it after having it for like a week, school interrupting the progress. Yes it's a pain and all but the only bug type thing that I, we if you count my fireteam on Xyor, was the dropship spawns. It took us longer than we had expected, all had read and watched info about the bounty. We eventually got through it after the extended time but that was the only "bug" we noticed. The crucible part sucks because it takes time if you're not good, I'm usually hideous at pvp, but it's what makes it an exotic bounty. It's not busted. It just takes time and effort

Its quite easy if you know how to spawn xyor (not going to explain it). But in my case it was a bit bugged. We made xyor spawn but we killed phogoth first cause my fireteam didnt know i needed xyor. So after we killed phogoth everything despawned except xyor so it was a free kill.

That's because the Thorn is the best bounty weapon ;) It's worth it.

I helped my friend with it yesterday.. it tooks us 2 hours for him to get it.

3 RepliesIf your "bug" is that it takes you longer to complete an exotic bounty (due to the pvp aspect) then you do not understand what a "bug" is. By your logic, pvp is "buggy" because people kill you more than you kill them. This bounty in no way is a bug. Thorn is hands-down the best exotic bounty weapon, being that it is a primary and does really good damage in pvp/pve. It SHOULD be the hardest to obtain.
