So I decided to play as my Warlock (which I rarely do) and do some strikes. One I joined was for the Summoning Pits, where I was grouped with two Hunters, one a level above me and one below.
Anyways, we get to Phogoth, I run out guns blazing ready to kick Phogoth's posterior, when I suddenly see a horde of Hive wizards and knights rushing me. I run back into the CP room, to find BOTH hunters are sitting in their for whatever reason. Seeing as how my comrades were firing from in there, I decided it would be futile to stay outside of the room just to get killed.
Then, I said "Seriously, we should have -blam!-ing had this done" to myself as I grow weary and impatient with this ridiculous cat-and-mouse game, as we were doing little to no damage to the Strike boss himself, constantly being swarmed with Hive minions guarding the door and respawning every few seconds. At this point, I just bolt out the door again in a final attempt to take out Phogoth while the other two wimper and cower in the CP room. One decides to join me, but is constantly dying, and the other stayed behind in the room (thanks, CapitalistHillBilly or whatever your name was #sarcasm #you-blam!-ingjoke). We get him down to a little less than half his health, then we all start dying and have to start over. At this point, I was upset with these two hunter's "strategy", and bounce before I seriously lose my temper from their stupidity.
In conclusion to this: Don't be like these two guys, other players out there. As long as you and your team members watch each others' backs and focus on the main objective, you can complete the strike without having to sit in a room and play the Waiting Game.

I always laugh when players do that on the non heroic strikes. Sad how bad some players are.
