I came into the Tower, just like every down trodden guardian does, and was going to walk to the CryptArch for another futile plea of getting a Legendary from him. But as I was putting on my Murmur so that I could put my Kneepads on to kneel before him, I noticed alot of people surrounding him taking photo, and with video cameras out. I thought to myself as I started walking toward the crowd, "Did a Guardian finally snap? Did the Cryptarch give out one too many rares on a Legendary Engram again like he use to, and now they are taking pictures of his Corpse?" As I got closer to the mob I seen that the CryptArch was still alive but waving, as I hit the back end of the crowd I heard him speaking. "Thank you, thank you all! It is a great honor you have placed upon me" I was dumbfounded, why is the CryptArch so happy?! I nudged a sobbing Warlock and asked what was going on, his name was GoldenMeadows, he looked in shambles, and was clearly a lower level. "What happened? What is going on? And why in the world are you crying?" I said He replied, "the worst has finally happened, we are all doomed i tell you doomed. Everyone has been wondering why Bungie has been so silent with no weekly update ever since we found those new areas that magically appeared last week, and now we know why!" The Sobbing gets even worse so I smack the warlock accross the face. "Snap out of it and tell me Damn you!" GoldenMeadows snaps out of his sob and stands upright as says " Bungie told the CryptArch that he is going to be handling the the Forums from now on, and will be the official face for the PR department, replacing Deej!" The news hits me like a Shoulder Charge to the chest. I feel all the energy draining from me. It was a gut wrenching feeling, so much so that I hurled all over poor GoldenMeadows. Cleaning my self off and wiping my lip, completely forgetting about GoldenMeadows I push forward through the crowd to the front as the CryptArch continues his speech. "Yes I will continue to be here, and yes I will be as hateful as usual to everyone, no matter if you have Knee-pads equipped or not. I will continue to strive to make your very existence as pathetic as possible, but with a renewed zeal!" Suddenly he bellows out laughter, like the likes the tower has never experienced, it was pure joy we heard and seen from this evil man. "Everyone for a long time knew Deej Catered to the players, he was a traitor to Bungie! HE, WAS, SOFT! So Bungie, in there great wisdom has called upon me!" He looked at everyone with an evil glare and the next words he spoke reverberated through the entire tower "Your words fall on deaf ears now Guardians, no more are the days of the Thupdate, no more will you have a PR rep that trys to coo and coddle you, if you want to cry..." He stops for a moment, then turns and points at GoldenMeadows and bellows out 'THEN CRY!" GoldenMeadows lets out a cry of defeat and he starts rocking and and forth holding himself The CryptArch continues on "YOU ALL will continue playing, YOU WILL buy the DLC to the newly discovered areas on the Disc or you will continue to get punished! I promise to serve Almight Bungie to the best of my ability, and to do that we start with an Iron FIST! Thank you..." The CryptArch steps away from his shop area, and slow walks the steps to the Special Event area, to be greeted by a Bungie Exec who shakes his hand. They turn and step onto the rear platform and are picked up by a strange ship and blink out of existence.
