Just not fair

Now, I personally love destiny (with or without a trading system) and Bungie has had my cheer through out the whole thing. But I just don't understand this whole dlc idea. When it first came out, the Weekly heroic/nightfall was locked off to those who didn't buy it, which wasn't fair, but I could deal with it (Imo there should be a seperate nightfall/heroic). Last week Xur sold the "Ruin wings" which were DLC only for the Titan, not a big deal, because I thought they would bring only one DLC item every time Xur came around. Appearantly not, I didn't have enough strange coins to buy the light 36 voidfang vestments, so I would save till next week. I walk over to Xur with anticipation to find he's selling "Ruin wings" "Knucklehead Radar(Hunter)" and, "Claws of Ahamkara", another DLC only item. I couldn't help but feel I was being so pushed to buy the DLC. Even though my main is a warlock, I'm sure Titans would be angry aswell. I mean that was really unfair seeing two DLC only items being sold, I should be able to switch from DLC, and normal game items, this is really not like bungie (It's like Activision though). I want to support the game as much as I can, but I can only see more pushes on buying the DLC, I could keep going.
I would assume it's going to be the same when House of Wolves comes out.
EDIT: Let's try and get some attention so Bungie can make up for.

    • The problem isn't just for those that haven't but the expansion. They screwed the ones that did buy the expansion pack as well. IMO, they should have changed the cap on prior raid gear and weapons, requiring new materials from the new raid to upgrade it (max it out). Offer new gear that can be only obtained through the new raids, but they made prior gear and prior raid basically obsolete. Vendor gear is more powerful, making it useless to have done the VOG. Now, the same exotics have a higher damage, but you have to start from scratch on leveling them up once you obtain them. Not my idea of fun. I've done it once, why do I want to do it a second time for 31 more in damage? That's not worth it, not when considering that with the next expansion pack, it could possibly be the same thing all over again. Where is the loyalty to the players that bungie has already? Was this just a move to make more money? Now players can buy the game today, purchase the vendor gear, grind and be at the same level without having spent time grinding in the VOG. It shows to me that investing any more money in a bungie game isn't that satisfying. This was the first bungie game I bought, never played halo. I loved the game, up until this. As a software developer, I do not like companies that are not fair or considerate of their current clientele in leu of garnishing more customers. So my apologies if this offends anyone. It was not meant in any way to be offensive. I am not saying I will not play destiny, but I highly doubt I will be playing it as much or buying any more expansion packs. It would either be a waste of time and/or a waste of money to me as there is not a goal for me in the game when the next expansion pack basically will force you to start from scratch.
