Bungie, could anyone shed some light on this?

Why do you lock up the Traveler's Walk when there is no event? Is there a technical reason? It is my favorite place to hang out and relax. Butterflies, birds, purple balls, pond and Koi fishes. And it has the best view from the Tower. The main upper level in the Tower is always crowded with Guardians in some sort of stasis, or doing transactions at their ATM, playing duck, duck, goose or jumping around like overactive jumping beans. (Why isn't walk the default in the Tower, why are we all in such a hurry?). The Traveler's Walk is less populated and a good location to empty one's mind and ponder on important questions such as "Why can't my boots match my bum-flaps?" Just curious.

    • I think they should open up more areas in the tower, even if it is just to look at the scenery. They could use RNG to spawn the stranger, who would only be there for a day - but give you a bounty that adds towards your vanguard marks, or even recites a RNG grimoire card to you. It was only yesterday, I just sat watching the sweeper in the hanger area, thinking RNG thoughts.
