I know that we can't name our characters in-game but that doesn't mean we can't name them at all! These are mine. [b]Kel'Dhran Vol "Light of the Banished Flame"[/b] (Warlock, Human Male) Kel'Odin was always obsessed with power. With flame and fury the Sunsinger scorched his foes and when none could stand against him in the wild he turned to the traveler. Long was the "night of flames" but in the end Kel'Odin fell. But the power that the Sunsinger had obtained was so strong that Kel'Odin could not die. But the Speaker spoke and the soul of Kel'Odin was banished and in it's place a new man was born. Kel'Dhran the speaker named him. Kel for Sun and Dhran for prisoner. Kel'Dhran was ever so loyal to the traveler. He was kind, cunning and free. Everything that his precursor was not. When the darkness found earth Kel'Dhran volunteered to push it back but the speaker would not let him. The Speaker had grown very fond of Kel'Dhran and did not wish certain death upon him but when the darkness grew bigger and stronger he had no choice but to release Kel'Dhran's fury upon them. And in the heat of battle Kel'Dhran felt anger and his former self was reborn within him. Kel'Dhran was wise and knew that the only thing that could make the situation worse was Kel'Odin's return. So Kel'Dhran laid down his weapon and let the darkness consume him before Kel'Odin was whole again. For many years Kel'Dhran was lost in the void but one day a ghost found his body and returned the light to him. When he then woke up he felt none of Kel'Odins hate. He was now without fury, but not without responsibility. [b]Kain-4 "Knight's Bane"[/b] (Titan, Exo Male) "He stood before an enemy so great that the very ground shook beneath it's feet and yet he walked victorious. Now the ground quakes for only him." - Unknown guardian. Kain-4 was spoken of as a legend even before his great deeds. He was not the first of exos that showed compassion or empathy but he was the first that lacked the fear of death. This was to many unsettling but it would prove to be his finest quality. The fear of death is surely key to survival but my that was not something that Kain-4 strived towards. When the darkness found our solar system Kain-4 was there to stand against it. Many brave soldiers left for war that day but only a few returned. Kain-4 did not but he led the way for many others back home. Kain-4 was a legend but he walked in the void for a long time and his name was eventually lost to mankind. When a ghost of the Traveler then returned light to his eyes everyone, including himself had forgotten about his name, his bravery and his might. But they would soon be reminded. [b]Vexer Tobal "The Red Ranger"[/b] (Hunter, Awoken Male) The Collapse claimed the lives of many, but it also birthed many new. Among them was the Tobal, a family meant for great things, not good, but great. Raileigh Tobal, the birth father of House Tobal was said to have allied with the forces of darkness and many believe that he's to blame for the Vex siege of Mercury. For a very long time the House of Tobal terrorized our solar system. Each generation crueler than the last, and each newborn son more hate filled than the last. That was until Vexer Tobal was born, the first Tobal to be born in light, and thus the first to be banished from his House. Vexer was a good man but everywhere he went he faced despise and hate for something that he was unfortunate enough to be born with. His name. He soon realized that he would not be accepted unless he took action, and he did. He named himself Illven Ryll. And so he found a way into the world. He soon took a wife and had a son and all was well, for a while. Raleigh the Martyr soon got word of his great grandsons place among his enemies and was furious. Raleigh was now old and powerless but that would not stop him from justifying his family name that he had worked so hard for to be feared across the universe. He would not let a youngling ruin his legacy. He sent his grandson in his place, Vexer's father Raegen Tobal, to deal with the boy. Vexer got word of what the Tobal was planning but it was too late to run. Raegan arrived and wiped out everyone Vexer held dear, friends and family slaughtered like dogs. It was to Raegan a glorious sight and when he found Vexer he finished the job. Vexer and everyone close to him was dead. Vexer was walking in the void for a long time, cursing his family's name and swore that if he ever got out they would all pay. And eventually he did get out. A ghost welcomed him back into the world and so Vexer set point on his goal, to wipe out the line that caused him and the world such pain. He named him self "The Red Ranger" because soon his hands would be painted red with Tobal blood.
