Will Destiny Last a Year?

I ask this not out of spite, just out of curiosity. As time has went by this question has lingered in my mind and only recently have I begin to really think about it. I'll say first off, I like this game. I've poured countless hours into this game and in a sense, my soul, but recent decisions made by bungie have made me second guess my choices. I could rave on about shallow content, the repetitive grind, RNG, how nothing is tested and how this game feels like it belongs on an iPhone. The list goes on. You've heard it all before and that's not why I'm here. I'll bet I'll hear creative responses like "leave" and "I like destiny" without ever answering my question. Here's a fact, however much you like it, it doesn't matter. You'll leave destiny. At the rate this game is going, a large portion will not return for destiny 2. But let's not stray from the question, what's your opinion?

 • It depends on your definition of last. Will people still be playing Destiny in a year? Yes, I can guarantee it. Will people continue to buy the expansions? Yes, I can guarantee it. As for how many people, who knows? I can only assume the numbers will drop off over time, like with any other game out there. Personally, I'll stick around as long as I'm still having fun. I might bounce back and forth between games like the Witcher 3 and the new Battlefield, but having clan friends here on Destiny means I'll always have something to come back to.
