Husk of the pit- am I missing something?
Done the fist of crota at least 50 times now, I've had about 5 drops "raid/quest style" but they are always black wax idols.
Is it the case that's it's rng for a drop AND rng for the item? Or am I missing something?
Would love to hear from someone who has got the husk after getting black wax idol drops.

I got it yesterday while doing bounties, not when i turned them in

1. Some people find it quicker to use black wax idols. 2. Skip start. 3. Kill all acolytes. 4. Kill priority. 5. Perseverance. 6. If non of this helps or works only one conclusion. (bungie really ******* hates you.) GL man I did all this got it second time.

2 RepliesI got mine today. Just load up Fist of crota and skip the fighting in the beginning. Once you get to the three acolytes kill them first! Then kill the blade of crota they summon. If you dont get it go back to orbit and try it again. Got mine in three tries. Just keep trying as for some it takes a bit to get it.

I feel your pain took me 4 hours grinding the fist of crota mission. It is speculation but popping a black wax idol while doing the mission might help. perseverance and luck my friend.

2 RepliesHere's how I got mine: Load up fist of crota mission. Jump on sparrow an skip through the enemy till you get to 3 hive summoning a blade carrier. Kill the 3 hive then kill the blade carrier (he might drop the husk he did for me). If he doesn't drop it, pick up the sword an sprint to the boss fight at the end an kill him with the sword (he might drop the husk too). No joy, reload an try again. Took me 25 attempts.

2 RepliesWhile I was doing patrol on cosmodrome, a blades of crota spawned. I killed the blade and got husk of the pit. The Husk of the Pit is just a very rare drop from the hive, so you just gotta keep trying and hoping. (Don't believe I have it, it's equipped on my lvl 29 titan)

Been farming on earth, moon, foc mission for two days and nothing. Wish bungie would reply to your thread as they ain't replied to mine. Love the game but this is beginning to drive me f,ing mad. Tried different characters too, nothing. Money for dlc so why the random drop. Aaaaaaaaaaah back to the blaming foc

I didn't get mine from the mission. (Doesn't have the dlc yet) I got mine from patrolling the moon and killing blades of crota. Maybe you could try that.
