The only thing that seems to wipe our whole team is a glitch with the Oversoul's Gaze. Many times we have destroyed the Oversoul, and regroup to kill the Swordbearer, only to be killed by the Oversoul's Gaze. This glitch is very frustrating, as it can ruin a nearly perfect run.

The strategy that always works for us is as follows: 1) clear out both sides once crystal is active 2) everybody run to the left side 3) one icebreaker guy focuses on Boomer Knights up top 4) everyone else go halfway down the stairs and focus dps on swordbitch WHILE the designated sword guy grabs the chalice 5) sword guy grabs the sword asap and goes on the rock towards the left 6) everybody starts to dps Crota and you should get two sets of hits on him 7) everybody stay at left and use the chalice if you need to 7) dps swordbitch once it spawns again but don't kill it until Crota comes back to middle 8) kill swordbitch as soon as Crota is back to the middle 8) get another two cycles in (by now Crota should have no more than 40% health left) 9) rotate to the right side and kill ogres asap using weapons of light 10) wait for swordbitch to spawn and dps it but don't kill it until Crota comes back to the middle 11) once Crota is back, kill swordbitch and get another two cycles congrats you just beat Crota Tips for warlocks, use voidwalker to kill ogres and swordbitch when you need to kill it quickly If you have a hunter, let them be the sword guy because of their invisibility. This way you can get more hits on Crota because the sword guy can get up there BEFORE Crota is down and can hit him as soon as he is down. The sword guy, whether he/she is a hunter or not, MUST be level 31+. Corrective measure works better than Ghorn in my honest opinion for this part of the fight A good setup for this fight is: Primary - something with long range and decent impact. I suggest a good vendor scout rifle or VoC Secondary - if you have an icebreaker, use it. If not, you can use your best legendary sniper rifle Heavy - provided that you will not run out of ammo, ghorn is perfect. If not, corrective measure is just as good. If you don't have corrective measure or song of ir yut, then any good legendary Rocket Launcher will do.

We had him nearly dead after the 3rd run, could have tried finishing him but decided we were doing so well we can just get him next round. While we waited for the swordbearer to spawn cleaning out the left side when out comes the ogres, it was most definitely the 3rd round not the fourth and we all got cut down by them. Then next time again started out great, waiting for the round 2 swordbearer and out of nowhere bam crota right in our face. No one saw him move, not even the sniper up to watching for him to go right. He either teleported or moved at lightspeed. We quit after that.

Honestly the i feel the 4 down 2 sniper technique to be better.. I had a group doing the left side and all the timing was off he kept moving faster then we wanted and it felt more glitchy once we switched to the 4 down we beat it first try... I would say try and Change it up if it's glitchy....

I have seen all three of those things happen in one fight as well.
