No warning about the helmet hotfix = previously cleared raiders cheated out of loot

I'm glad everyone is so overjoyed with the addition of the raid helmet to the Normal raid. I seriously am. Grats to everyone that obtained it and good luck to those that are clearing it this week. However, on a personal level I am furious. This patch is in no way a happy occasion for myself. I was one of the unfortunate people that took the initiative to clear the raid as soon as it reset. My clan cleared it three times on all of our characters and then called it a night. Then I wake up this morning to see the patch notes which informs me the helmet has now been added to the loot table... Wow...just wow... The best piece of armor was added 9 hours after the weekly reset, without any forewarning (again), because the players were left in the dark (as usual). What this means is rather than having a shot at the helmet like the majority of people will this week, my group is out of luck. All because they changed the raid within hours of the reset, instead of bringing it down during the reset or before anyone could possibly clear the raid. I know there's absolutely no way they will reset the raid at this point or offer any kind of recompense beyond the typical ,"We are sorry. We will try to communicate better in the future." post from Deej. But I just want people to know that this whole lack of communication thing is still hurting the players. There needs to be more transparency or things like this will just continue to happen. Changes like this need to be announced in advance because quite frankly there was ZERO downside of letting the community know beforehand. The only thing that would've resulted from such an announcement is anticipation for the raid and giving players the opportunity to postpone their clear(s). Step it up Bungie, seriously. Stop making apologies and start actually delivering.
