You all know anout the current system when it comes to legendaries and exotics. How your old legendaries are obsolete, and to upgrade your exotics you have to reset your progress. Well, I am here with an idea to fix that. This process will allow any legendary or exotic to be upgraded without losing anything (other than motes of light). To the right of the last damage upgrade, another circle like the rest of the upgrades, but with a colorless mote of light. It reads, [b]Infuse Light Infuse light to increase the effectiveness of this equipment. Cheaper when fully upgraded.[/b] It upgrades the armor to the next light/defense/attack level, causing them to be put up to the 331 attack level and whatever the defense level is, as well as increasing the light maximum by 6. ([i]When the House of Wolves comes out, upgrading from the lowest values will require two infusions to go from the first maximum values to the final one. Think of each maximum value so far as one "level," and it requires you to upgrade multiple times depending on the lowest "level" to get to the highest.)[/i] Infusing will cost 13 Motes of Light, or 1 Mote of Light if the weapon is fully upgraded. Infusing removes no progress. When a weapon is at the highest value, the infusion option will be blue and say, [b]Maximum Values This equipment has been upgraded to the highest values.[/b] Keep in mind that legendaries (excluding raid gear) cannot increase their light to reach the highest light level.
