Not bothering with Iron banner this time
I'm not bothering with iron banner this go round. It doesn't give level 32 armor so I don't really care.
Any body else skipping it, or is it just me?

3 RepliesI hit up some of those bounties. Every one is 5k each xp. Trying to level up some weapons. Otherwise yeah it's a waste of time. If the auto rifle wasn't so garbage that'd be totally worth it. Stats on it are shit. What's bungies obsession now with spray and pray guns. I can't stand those high rof low impact autos

Worthless for my warlock but its good for my 26 hunter. Reset doesnt bother me as that was known since the end of the first ib. Besides the reset needs to happen so new players have a shot at the gear. Otherwise if we continued they would be out levelled and never catch up, afterall the good stuff is rank 4/5, if we continued levels itd be 7/8 next time, which means those with 0 rank have no chance in hell and wouldbt bother. So it actually limits people if it doesn't get reset.

I don't understand why you kids limit yourself to pvp only. Destiny's pvp isn't even that good. There's so much to do. It's always the people that say they're better than others, that play pvp all day. I would think killing the computer is easier, than killing other people, since you're not knowing the persons next move. Go make some friends and stop having anti - social skills. Go beat an easy raid for level 32 gear and stop crying.

I really don't understand why people that play pvp want higher light levels. It only effect IB itself so aside from that the only thing it helps is pve content. Which if you played pve you would not be worried about getting to lvl 32.

Iron Banner rank reset. Have to grind for a week to get armour with the same light level as what I already have equipped and with stats I don't want. No new class items, emblems or shaders. I'm not wasting my time on this sh!t.

the gear is on par with what I have , I have all the shaders/emblems the weapons aren't that worth it. the only way that assault rifle would be good if you rolled the perk that reduces rate of fire but grants additional damage when ADS

I'm skipping it simply because there's no point if they're going to reset my rank every time on top of nerfing the armor at the next expansion. I got to rank 5 (3 in the first IB, 5 in the second) and now it's gone. Again, Bungie devaluing my time playing. It's an insult. It's an affront to my effort. It's disrespectful. Add on top of that the fact that the IB gear does nothing for making any of the rest of PvE or PvP enhanced in any way, it just becomes wasted effort with no reward. They screwed us when they let new IB gear go to 30, but gave no way to upgrade old IB armor, only weapons. They screw us by resetting rank. Why spend the time getting anything from IB? I already have the emblems and shaders. Why spend any time getting gear and leveling it up when it's going to get nerfed on the next expansion? Nope. Nope. Nope.

Yea Im all in, I want that ICEBREAKER so BADDDDDD! Iron Banner is the only thing that might help me get this!! I sure as hell cant purchase it from Xur I cant find his ass

I'm doing it on my hunter just for that beautiful looking sniper, the cloak and those beautiful boots. I just started my hunter it's level 26 so I actually need the armor to get me to 31.

Is it true you have to be rank 3 to get weapons to drop from IB? I probably didn't notice last time. Too busy trying to rank up.

I'm with you. The only reason i would play it is to maybe get "birth of history" because I had one in the beta so its special, but other than that I have no read.
