And perhaps Xyor too? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Thanks everyone, got Thorn now!
-
Skirmish + cauldron + fusion rifle
-
Christmas noobs
-
Did it as a hunter pack a good void shottie and fusion one shotter and camp, camp like its summer, shamelessly.
-
Shotgun+machine gun+defender titan= done
-
Grats on getting thorn. Sorry for being late here. PVP: camp when able and be a dirty player. Yes I suck at pvp. Strike: I just soloed.

Edited by odaddymine: 12/21/2014 10:53:55 PMPlay with a team! If you roll as a warlock, you're set with voidwalker. Play smart and have fun! As for Xyor, there are many threads on these forums with people trying to complete that part if the bounty. Join up and help each other out! Edit: Whoops, didn't see the edit op. Congrats!
-
void fusion rifle to start with. play control. the enemy won't be actively hunting for you. stick with your team. don't lone wolf it. play very cautiously. i'm terrible at pvp and it only took me 2 1/2 hours.
-
Rumble with void fusion or shotgun.
-
I can't get passed the wxyor part
-
Atheon's Epilogue Praedyth's Revenge Corrective Measure 5 friends who are better than you at PvP
-
Fusion rifle and Lmg, i did the pvp section in a few matches.
-
I killed xyor with 3 shots from ghorn....
-
Took me about 6 hours to do in my Titan ;-;
-
Void lmg so you can get more kills, void fusion rifle or shotgun and try playing the skirmish playlist were its 3 people per team, it'll limit the kills but youll die less
-
Now work harder to get the fate bringer best gun in the game thorn is ok
-
Fusion rifle. Preferably one with a quick charge time and perfect balance, and you'll be good to go.
-
fusion rifle. nuff said.
-
Edited by Gekko135: 12/21/2014 10:45:15 PMGlad you got it! The pvp part was awful, but with patience you get there. Personally, I think the pocket infinity, rare fusion rifles collecting was more bullcrap. You either had to save up the ones you find or just get lucky with the vendor... so who knows how long that bounty will be sitting there in you list before you can complete it... unless you were prepared. In fact, that bounty sucks more now that glimmer is more precious.
-
Void shotgun.
-
Shotty. Machine gun
-
Also, when salvage is running, it's extremely helpful to play with clan mates and communicate. That's where I got most of my points one afternoon. I got so desperate a friend tried share play to do it for me, but I decided I only wanted the gun if I could actually earn it legitimately.
-
Watch control zones with a sniper rifle, I'm using Predlyths Revenge with Atheons Epilouge as backup.
-
Void Fusion Rifle + Truth/machine gun Ignore the people that tell you to use a shotty. Always play team matches. Assists also count. If you are getting steam-rolled, just quite ans start another match. For Xyor, bring a friend and have them camp in the room before the shrieker.
And perhaps Xyor too? Thanks in advance.
don't suck...

Edited by Bluefoxx3: 12/16/2014 8:59:52 AMHoard all the heavy ammo you can find and use a good fusion rifle like Final Rest II that does Void and has the Accelerated Coils upgrade. If you managed to find a Void Swarm Machine Gun, then you will have a field day with the pvp portion for Thorn. Just sit in the back near a heavy weapon spawn, pick off who you can from a distance with your fusion rifle, or Atheons Epilogue if you have it and move with the team instead of trying to lone wolf it. Skirmish is ideal, but you can finish the bounty faster if you do Clash or Control.

I'm still slowly grinding through it using the epilogue, a rare void fusion and the arc zombie apocalypse. I'm just down right terrible at crucible so it has taken longer than I'd like. I haven't played a pvp like this since halo 3 and fell out with the whole over shield play style after giving battlefield a good hammering. I should pull my finger out and learn how to play properly. Most average players get on fine with this part of the bounty from what I hear/read.
