Should I try out Warlock?
I've played through the regular story as both a Titan and a Hunter (love the Titan, bubblebros for life) and I was wondering if you guys think I should try Warlock as well (you can also let me know if you prefer voidwalker or sunsinger).

I have all three and love them all, definitely give warlock a try. If you have an extra slot why not? One of each is ideal, making duplicate classes just to be able to swap gear? Lame.. variety is fun.

Try it out! Honestly people hate warlocks because of self revive but it's actually really good in nightfalls, I play sunsinger and I don't die too much, it's really fun to play as! (Also one fun thing, if someone shotguns u, equip a shotty self res and shoot them in the back)

I would suggest doing so. While the Hunter is personally my favorite class, it is very fun to experience the game from a different viewpoint. I prefer the Voidwalker subclass on my Warlock.

2 RepliesDo try them out. To me, its the most fun class to play. Best grenades in the game, overall, and amazing supers. People love to run Sunsinger, but I´m an avid Voidwalker. Gotta love those nukes!

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ONE OF EACH CLASS! If you don't that you should demand a refund from Bungie/Microsoft because you are not getting your monies worth. Someone start a -blam!-ing petition!

3 RepliesI love my warlock. I have a Titan as well but he's basically my warlock slave. Anything good he has goes to my warlock. Warlocks are like demigods. I play primarily as a sunsinger and I hardly die. Stupid powerful. Some will say the warlock is dumb because you always rely on self revive. I call bs lol. If anything sunsinger lock is proof if that person is good at the game or not. Sun locks never super unless they die. We don't need supers to kill enemies. Warlocks are that good

I think you should play with the Warlock and if you do pick VoidWalker, I love the missile you get from it.

If you like bathrobes and helmets that remind me of Star Wars imperial scout troopers (ones that ride the speeder bikes that oddly look alot like sparrows...), sure. It's good to get a taste of all three to see which one you enjoy most. I officially call them the space clown class because of their ridiculousness.

Go for it...I started one as an alt and now he's my favorite. Might as well have one of each, it's much less disappointing when a legendary or exotic engram decodes into something for another class.

I will tell you this, all 3 classes are fun and awesome. All 3 have their strengths and weaknesses. In their own unique way their the best. I have all 3 classes and can't wait to do raids, nightfalls or other modes with all of them every time. Lots of people say warlocks are the best and warlocks here and there...they don't know. I respect their preference but do not agree. All classes are the best honestly. The hunter, warlock and titan are all the best. Most people even love the warlock because of the sunsinger super "radiance" that revives you once you are dead. I'll be honest though that's about the only fun on the sunsinger. Don't get me wrong sunsinger is cool but honestly voidwalker is so much more fun than sunsinger. To me sunsinger is more for Nightfalls and raids. Voidwalker is much better and more fun for everything else. Even PvP the Voidwalker is much better and fun. Just do yourself a favor and make yourself a warlock so you can have fun to the max with all your 3 characters. Warning: it's going to be a lot of work! At your own risk...lol. joking, but it's really a lot of work to have 3 different classes!

I love warlocks!! I've played all three classes and warlock is my favourite I always go sun singer first of all and then work on my void after its maxed being able to ress yourself Is so useful for anything you do weather it be nightfall, raids or just farming and then you get to spam mini Suns everywhere it's amazing!!

Yes definitely, I have a lot of fun with the warlock. Just level up both subclasses, they are both useful in different situations.

yes. and honestly it depends on your playstyle. wanna deal a shitload of damage with purple space magic? go voidwalker. wanna support your teammates with speed ups on their cooldowns when they are close to you and self revive when you are alone? go with sunsinger. i have both maxed out

Pvp void walker with bad juju and obisidian helmet exotic are great for recharging nova bombs

It wont hurt you to try. If you are so used to bubblebobbling then maybe you should try sunsinger just to have that self revive in your back pocket.

Warlock sunsinger for PvE, voidwalker for PvP. Sunsinger for self revives especially if you're soloing and grenade spams, and voidwalker for nova bomb in PvP. The nova bomb clears rooms like a boss and is impossible to evade. I have a hunter, but i prefer the warlock if i want to play a more aggressive style. Haven't tried titan though.

I'm not speaking from too much experience, as my hunter and titan experiments only lasted until level 12 or so (the hunter in my character list right now is my daughter's). I started out as a warlock and I've not regretted the decision. I've found Voidwalker to be a good choice in Crucible rounds. Sunsinger is my go-to in PVE. The self-revive is fantastic.
