user created legendary weapons that become loot
I think it would be awesome to have a feature where you can re roll your legendary weapons like you could in iron banner, but with a twist... Lets say i re roll my Up For Anything rifle. I get the perks i like and lock it in. Now I would have the option to choose from different auto rifle models, shaders, etc. Next, i can name it and type in my description. So in this case, i would name it "Coils of the serpent unwind". For a description (if you get the Slayer reference, high five) i would put "buried beneath you will find...". NOW... This gun will become part of the drop table. If you happen to get it, you can rename it in case i called it "rabbit humpage" or something.

I think it would add way too much to Team Bungie's workload editing weapons, since (gamers being gamers) there will be 50,000 people naming weapons the "Go F*ck Yourself 7500" or so forth. The idea of renaming a weapon for your own inventory has some promise though; I wouldn't mind being able to rename my favorite rifle. Then I could thank it very much, after naming it "Mr. Roboto."

like the idea, only issue i see is that it would add more to the loot table, which not many would like. but yeah, seems like a fun and useful idea, though you just know someone's going to make the SPR-SYN with the description "It's over 9000!" yes, i just had to >_>
