New DLC, same old look? Small loot table and visual appearance woes.

I'll be honest, my expectations were pretty low with this DLC. I actually hesitated logging in for a good part of the week due to my fear of disappointment in things I wished to see fixed. I actually got burnt out playing Destiny because there just wasn't enough variety in things to do, gear to earn and fun ways to level that gear. Getting to the point though, I was at the very least hoping that the new legendaries would be significantly different from the base games legendary items. Yet to my dismay they don't look much different at all, maybe the odd piece of armor tacked on to an old and already familiar armor loadout. Perhaps it's just the hunter class that didn't see much creativity in it's legendaries but even so I was hoping that perhaps each faction might get it's own theme in terms of armor this time around. (Monarchy: Cloth / Dark Orbit: Armor plate / FWC: Metal/robotics) Not just the same old armor with a new skin/shader applied, something more distinguishable from afar regardless of what shader someone is sporting. It was recently stated in an interview with Deej that they at Bungie discovered that their players want more Vault space because they like to collect items, hold onto those prized pieces of gear... [b]Bungie... make gear items we want to collect and treasure. [/b] Essentially, make it more lengendary and please, [u]make the loot table much bigger[/u] then it currently is so not every hunter/warlock/titan look the same.
