Universal Remote buff?
I heard that when it first came out it use to be able to hit a target with in range of that of a scout rifle but still have the stopping force of a shotgun, this I never seen cause I did not get it till after the one update that weaken a great number of exotics. I am not sure if it was weaken or not but I feel like this shotgun has much more to show then its current state, I feel like it could have a slightly increase range then what it has now due to its ability Universal Remote, everything else with it is just fine tho the reload speed could be tune to be a bit quicker and maybe a scout perk could be added but that is just me. But in all I love this gun cause I am a shotgun guy so when I saw that it was a primary I though that bungie had listen to my wish for one when I was still on reach.

1 ReplyIf used properly, it devastates in PVP. I once went 42 and 5 using Univ. and another shotty in my special. I was on the small mars map and destroyed ppl.

universal remote is supposed to dominate medium to close range with the range finder and i think shot package perks its fantastic for taking people out before they get into normal shotty range but never shout rifle range that would just be silly lol try using it basically as a substitute for a max rate of fire auto rifle.

Look, I agree that UR is nothing spexial when it comes to shotguns. Heck, legendary shotgund are better. But just atop and think for a second on what you are asking. Ahotguns got nerfed precisely because they had a lot of rabge for a close quarters weapon. By buffing UR's range you make that nerf non-existant. If they buff it then the it would get nerfed again within weeks. There is just no point in buffing it. Its usable. There are better ahotguns out there but this one lets you use unconventional load outs.

I was hoping this shotgun would fire slug rounds, that would require the user to be accurate and give it range

1 ReplyPie? ... Well I don't have first hand experience, but a Scoped Primary Shotgun should be effective as a ranged Primary.

1 ReplyIt should get a huge buff since invective has terrible ammo regen, which is why invective is supposed to be awesome. I still like the universal remote, but I'd like to see the effective range increased by about 1.5-2 meters.
