Old Raid Armour and Weapons now USELESS !?!
Come on Bungie, armour I can now buy from a Tower vendor is more powerful than the Vault of Glass Raid armour ? and an Auto rifle bought from the crucible vendor is as powerful as the Vex Mythoclast ? Do you have ANY idea what people have gone through to get these powerfull items ? I'm buggered if I'm doing it all again, and why should I ?
Simply include / add extra upgrade slots ( Similar to the Xur Exotic upgrades this weekend ( Which by the way THANK YOU !!! ) to them and restore some credibility, hell it'll even preserve your economy if you just make us use Exotic shard's or whatever to enhance our Raid gear. truth be told I don't care what you do, so long as they're not left as useless items because we bought the DLC, it all seems unfair and a little harsh to me.

Agreed let them be upgraded just like the exotics. Raid items were suppose to be hard earned and special. Now they are or are borderline useless.

I know new raids have better armours, but I can't think of one RPG/MMO-style game that unlocks end-game, essentially top-tier weapons and armours available straight from the soft-cap basic vendors, better than the first raid. Yeah you may unlock guilds/advanced stores later in the other games, but none that have a store available off the bat that is better than an end-game raid... I know they probably did it to 'allow all players to experience the 2nd Raid'... Let people work through VOG to then unlock Crota... Wouldn't be surprised if they're pushing players through because the next Destiny will be out in 12 months

It is old..who cares ?i am happy to dismantle my raid shoulders for new gear because it means nothing to me..i need stats to get new gear this digital stuff is totally worthless if its not for the stats

That's how a lot of games do it. WoW for example. The new expansion just came out. And I just started playing again. All my current gear is now useless. Though, there is a longer period of time between expansions for WoW.
