Recently I just bought the Dead Orbit auto rifle "Unwilling Soul 9" because of its perks. However, when I tried it out, it was HORRIBLE. Compared to other auto rifles, this "subclass" has almost twice as less range and more than twice less the stability, when compared to a slow fire auto rifle, shadow price. The unwilling soul's accuracy is very horrible, and so much recoil is put to effect. A great and needed buff would be towards stability and more damage because of the high chance you'll miss shots. To counter this, the reload speed needs to be a little slower, because it's odd for a weapon to load 72 bullets faster than one with 25. This buff is very needed, and for now this legendary weapon feels anything but legendary.

Yeah. They need a stability buff impact
-
I'd like to see them stagger enemies from the sheer amount of projectiles hitting them almost like a "dizzy" status effect.
-
I don't have it to test but from the stats it almost looks like a SMG. How's the hip fire? Can you stay really mobile and lay down a lot of damage on the fly?

Shadow price MK.1 master race
-
That was my first legendary and it is awful... Completely useless in crucible and barely much better in PvP... Every legendary or exotic auto rifle that has dropped for me has been high RoF low impact... Which is why I'm hoping Xur has a Suros tomorrow
-
They dont need a buff, bungie needs to realease other variations of slow RoF ARs
-
I got a Silimars wrath from the iron banner with two stability perks on it. It's still all over the place. Definitely a gun type to get used to.
-
The new raid auto rifle is horrible. No impact and no range.
-
They might have a stagger/suppression effect for making snipers miserable... but beyond that they suck.
-
Upgraded a Husk to Eidolon Ally and leveled it up and it is so bad. Could probably smother another guardian with a pillow faster.
-
I agree, sad to say most rare auto rifles can out shoot the HROF auto rifles. I believe the yneed a 1-5 point damage buff depending on the gun and it's stats.

You make some good points, but at the same time it is very hard to properly manage a change. If overbuffed they will make heavies redundant. Though I would like to see them do at least slightly better at a range, even if it is more of a PvE buff.
-
the problem lies with what this weapons intended usage is the high rate of fire weapons are not intended for long range engagement they are meant essentially for a shotgun substitute. try using it in close quarters and hip firing. if you want a long range auto rifle use a vanquisher/ shadow price, or even try one of the new legendary auto rifles they should be pretty effective across all ranges.

"Twice less", you mean half? Honest question.
