With the new DLC release and The Murmur Fusion Rifle in every one hands, running into some one with a Fusion Rifle has become old and redundant. I'm actually looking forward to getting killed by someone with a Hand Cannon for once. Oh and I applaud ANYONE who gets kills with Pulse rifles, which in my opinion should be Buffed as far as impact goes. How do you make a weapon where you need precision hits to get kills but can't even get Four rounds off before your own death. We've been given an "Air soft Battle Riffle". Even before the DLC, getting killed with a Fusion Rifle SUCKED and I'm not the only one on this... Going back to the topic, I'm pretty sure there is a group of players who'd play Crucible games that only limit you or restrict certain weapons to be used. My gripe personally is Auto Rifles and Fusion Rifles. Me personally, I feel as if I'm forced to used those weapons in order to be competitive in most Crucible matches other wise I'm mostly getting a "Crap load" of assist... I'm pretty sure there are others that wouldn't mind a game variant like that. I mean hell, this game is from Bungie. I know they may wanna keep the game separated from the Halo series but that series had some specific games like Snipers, and SWAT. I KNOW there are players that would love to Snipe "all day". Maybe even a game type where Specials are disabled, a Scout Rifle and Shot Gun variant, a special weapons only type. Bungie wants to mix it up, keep players interested and playing.... Well try that for a few weeks. I see how that "Heavies" variant is no longer available, but Skirmish is still up.
Rant over.
