Vanguard Commendations in future DLC
So now that we get a ticket that allows us to buy one item every time we rank up, what are Bungie going to do to put the brakes on buying new gear when House Of Wolves drops and we've all got a small pile of Commendations?
Just spitballing here but probably [spoiler]something that pisses off as many players as they can manage[/spoiler]

2 RepliesIt is actually not even EVERY time we rank up. It is RNG based still. Which is the dumbest thing that they've done in this game yet. And I'm one of the guys that loves this game, and will still play it far into the future... But damn Bungie, you guys -blam!-ing love RNG. Waaaay to much. Make us work for a set goal. Not mindlessly grind for weapons. Christ, what happened to setting goals and giving certain set rewards? Its like ascendant and radiant material drops in the raid. Why? Why is that there? Why not just have gear drop, and allow us to get radiant shards by completing tasks outside of the raid? Raid for gear, grind to level up saud gear, rinse/repeat. That works, and has worked for years in other games.

You only need 2 commendations for armor, the weapons however you need numerous. But yes, house of wolves will have a new currency to add on to commendations. But I'm really not seeing the issue...

They should never have added commendations, in my opinion they put them in so it would take longer and they were hoping that people wouldn't realize how little they just gave us in dlc because we would be grinding for the commendations
