I only recently started using shotguns so I don't know if this is a bug but shotgun damage is pretty underwhelming in PvP. Additionally, when I aim, it seems only one pellet ever hits for precision damage? I don't know if it is a bug. In any case, wherever I looked for people discussing if shotgun are viable for PvE, universally people were saying Fusion Rifles and Snipers simply are better in terms of utility while doing similar damage so... [b]Suggestion:[/b] To compensate for the very high risk, low range gameplay of shotguns, I think their damage should be buffed in PvE. I think a point blank "on the weak spot" shotgun shot should do more damage than a sniper headshot for example. Hard to provide numbers as damage from pellets is hard to see but from limited tests it seems, for Found Verdict and Ice Breaker, shotgun precision damage was about 2000 + pellet dmg vs 2500 for icebreaker precision damage on a goblin I believe. Really hinders the incentive to use a shotgun when the alternatives do seemingly more damage more easily. Am I the only one that thinks this? Post below or Like if you think shotguns need a slight or moderate PvE dmg buff to become a viable strategic PvE weapon of choice!
