After playing the IB and today's update for a bit, I thought it would be a great idea if they added the option to reforge weapons as a permanent feature, it would give motes a new use, and I can't tell you how many times I've got a weapon I wanted, but with crappy upgrades so bad I dismantled the weapon. Also you should be able to get 1 shard for 1 energy and vice versa because I have so much energy and barely any shards, and now that exotic weapons dont require energy it would be really useful as I have a ton of armour to upgrade. Anyone agree?
