Update about Exotics Question.
I havent gotten home yet from work so i cant get the update yet, but does the update make your Exotic still have its upgrades or does it basically take away all those Upgrades i grinded for?
TL;DR, I had fully leveled Exotic (lets say weapons), are they still fully upgraded after patch, or end damage removed for this Exotic Shard i have to get anew?

1 ReplyI was wondering the same thing and actually figured it out by looking at my profile on bungie.net. The way it works is if you have lvl'd the weapon but not upgraded(ie used materials) each damage upgrade or buff, you just have to spend glimmer, weapon parts and a planetary material(do not have to use ascendant energy anymore) up until the very last damage upgrade. For the last damage upgrade, you have to use glimmer, weapon parts and an exotic shard.

1 ReplyI don't know for sure as I'm still at work as well but from what I've read it shouldn't degrade your weapon. Seems like most if not all of the buffs were done to the basic make up of the weapon. I wouldn't think Bungie would bend you over like that but don't quote me on it.
