They were even greater than they seemed when watching the videos on YouTube for me. It was [i]really[/i] dark at the beginning, but I could tell it was to actually take advantage of the VISR mode, which I did. All of the weapons look much better and I [i]really[/i] like the overall artistic theme; although there are places where the new theme and old theme clash with each other. Most of the weapons felt great with only two exceptions. Both the Sniper Rifle and Battle Rifle felt off for me. They felt as though they were pea-shooters due to the silencers. When I'm using a high caliber sniper, I'd much rather feel the raw power rather than it feel as though I'm shooting an over-glorified silenced pistol. The SMG was absolutely fine silenced, though. As for more about the Battle Rifle, I stated previously that the red display wasn't that appealing and I stand by that. It would have been better blue or used the same sort of ammunition display as the Assault Rifle does. The encounters felt great. It was a nice fresh up from the normal game, but in a way that completely felt right. The parts where they have brutes make absolute sense with the level and felt seamless. It wasn't even until I finished killing the brute that I even started to think "Oh, a brute in Combat Evolved!". It just fit that well in my experience. VISR mode was a great addition. Like I said before, it was [i]very[/i] useful at the beginning of the game like the night vision [i]tried[/i] to be in the original. I was originally expecting it to be something I did once, thought was neat, and never touched again. I ended up using it for about the entire first part of the level. I only turned it off to admire the work they did making the level so beautiful. In the end, I really enjoyed it and I think CMT have outdone themselves so far. I really hope they continue to keep making this better after each release. Can't wait to here what level they're working on next. Other than that, all the encounters are still there except slightly modified with newer enemies/weapons.[/quote]Yep, it sure is. I just checked. Btw, is there a place where I can submit a review? There are some things that I want to talk about, like how the Hunters are now scary and menacing. Also, I'm wondering why we can't do any melee damage to them. I'm guessing the back weak-spot thing hasn't been worked on other than making them not get one shotted by headshot capable weapons. That would be why yes? Or is it just because it's too easy to circle around them and melee? Either way, it would be great if they could be meleed in the back like in H3. Another thing I want to discuss: dancing with Brutes. I'm not sure if it was their brute shots, the pressure from enemy fire, or just their intimidating height but holy -blam!-, they are scary up close. But most importantly, I want to praise the save anytime checkpoint feature while criticizing on why it takes so long to pick up a weapon. Hold E seems to take longer. Please tell me this is to stop juggling weapons. If not, it really should be fixed (or at least include the option to change it to press E, if that's possible). Right now, I've made it to the grav lift after some gameplay testing (on Normal difficulty). Dealing with the Hunters was so scary I had to take a [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtCpu9WYZps]cowardly approach[/url]: hiding behind a tree, watching my ODSTs get pwnd, weeping until the Hunter pops out and tricking him into meleeing off the cliff. [url=http://badcyborg.net/Halo/Fun/Level3/DM/Index.html]This[/url] battle. I have never tried it before and because of the new cp feature, setting up this battle is going to be so much more convenient. One last question. Regarding the performance options, they're just one click right? I just click them and then exit back to the game for them to take effect?
