Gonna play Dark Souls for the first time
Just heard that Dark Souls 2 will be releasing on next gen so I've decided to finally play the first Dark Souls. I got it free with games with gold. Any tips or things I should know? What class should I start off with for someone that has never played the game?

6 RepliesZweihander is for a tank. Uchigatana is for a "ninja". Upgrade them to Lightning +15 and they can be your bestfriend. I've tried both and have had great experiences with them. Although, in the end, it comes down to what you are comfortable with. Just play and have fun. Watch HunterStarcraft and do not be Human unless you want to be invaded by PVP Monsters. lol
